Welcome everybody in the second week of the month. This is the important week for our writers, because we will publish lists of money making Reasons in each category. You can also win money! Just select or add a new Candidate if doesn’t exist in our data base and than write a few words about it – so called Reason, if it’s good and other people will vote for it, you can find yourself on similar list in September.
Winning money reason:
|1||Mojito||The mix of white rum, lime, sugar, mint and soda water, can turn you into the life of the conversation, or a flailing, wailing drunk.||$5.00|
|2||Cheeseburger||A cheeseburger is a hamburger topped with cheese. Traditionally, the slice of cheese is placed on top of the meat patty, but the burger can include many variations in structure, ingredients, and composition.
Cheeseburger made by Tasted.
|3||The famous American breakfast||Home made thick pancakes with syrup and blueberries, topped off with a few rashers of bacon. Anyone not wishing for a coronary usually opts for a bowl of muesli, so I’m told. Pancakes all the way for me!
|4||Massaman curry||Spicy, coconutty, sweet and savory, its combination of flavors with local produce such as dried chili peppers, cilantro (coriander) seeds, lemongrass, galangal, white pepper, shrimp paste, shallots and garlic to make the massaman curry paste.||$3.50|
|5||Strawberry-Buttermilk Sherbet||Blend buttermilk with your choice of fresh or frozen strawberries to create this creamy springtime treat. This simple recipe only takes 15 minutes to prep before going into the ice cream maker.||$3.00|
|6||Malaysian breakfast||A hot bowl of Mee – noodles mixed with egg, vegetable and tasty spices.||$2.50|
|7||Fish ‘n’ chips||The staple of the Victorian British working class is a crunchy-outside, soft-inside dish of simple, un-adorned fundamentals. Sprinkled with salt, vinegar and dollops of tartar sauce.
|8||Tiramisu||It is a popular coffee-flavoured dessert. It is made of ladyfingers dipped in coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of eggs, sugar and mascarpone cheese, flavoured with cocoa.||$1.50|
|9||A healthy Hawaiian breakfast||I couldn’t imagine Hawaiians eating anything but fruit to be honest. Of course, there’s the bagel but I’m sure they’d burn the energy from that off in a few minutes on their surf board anyway.
|10||The French breakfast||Le croissant, le croissant, how I love le croissant! Pack them with crushed almonds, butter, chocolate or cream, they always taste good.
